I have been learning about and collecting swords since 1997. Like many of you, I don't have a lot of money so it takes me a long time to make a new sword purchase. I found that, after buying a sword, I had very little money left to purchase a scabbard. The scabbard makers that were in my price range had long waiting lists. My solution was to make my own scabbards. I made a few and decided that they were good enough that maybe someone else might be interested in them. In short, if you want a quality custom scabbard for a reasonable price, you have come to the right place.

Recently it has become apparent that I need to take Tritonworks in a new direction. Many of you still want to buy the reasonably priced, reasonably period-accurate custom scabbards that Tritonworks has always made, however a growing number of you are willing to spend the extra money needed to purchase something that is more historically accurate. Therefore, Tritonworks is going to provide options that should allow both sorts of customers to get what they want.
